Competitive Pay: $29.65 - $37.45 per hour (based on position and experience)

Available Schedules:

Rotating Shifts (1 week days, 1 week evenings):



  • Day Shift: Monday - Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Night Shift: Monday - Thursday | 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
  • Weekend Shift: Thursday - Sunday | 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM


Rotating Shifts: 1 week graveyard, 1 week evening, 1 week day:



  • Day Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Graveyard Shift: Monday - Friday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Weekend Shift: Thursday - Sunday | 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM



As a Mechanic, you will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing both underground and surface equipment. Responsibilities vary depending on your level of expertise:



  • Expert-Level Mechanic: Focuses on advanced maintenance and repairs for mining equipment, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring machinery operates at peak performance.
  • Mine Mechanic: Inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs underground mining equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations in subterranean environments.
  • Junior Mechanic: Assists senior mechanics with basic tasks, including routine inspections and basic repairs, while gaining valuable experience in the field.
  • Surface Mechanic: Services equipment used in salt processing, handles preventive maintenance, and addresses mechanical issues to minimize downtime.



Required Skills & Qualifications include experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, hydraulics and pneumatics, electrical and mechanical systems, and welding and fabrication. Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), blueprint and schematic reading, heavy equipment maintenance, and conveyor systems and gearboxes is also required.
