The Division of Enrollment Management is a key campus thought partner that provides collaborative leadership in university-wide efforts, utilizing systematic, innovative, and synergistic approaches to leverage a data-informed enrollment strategy to improve market distinctiveness, and execute the campus strategic plan. The division comprises the offices of Enrollment Management, Financial Aid & Scholarships, University Registrar, and Undergraduate Admissions.

The Office of Enrollment Management aims to align the initiatives and activities of academic units and administrative divisions with campus strategic goals through sustainable enrollment planning. The office engages campus partners in meaningful conversations on enrollment trends and outcomes and uses industry expertise and data-driven analytics to inform direction and decision-making.


Your Role on the Team

Applies skills and experience as a seasoned business analytics professional to integrate campus data systems used in cross-functional areas to develop, test, and enhance analytics assets and process flow. The incumbent collaborates with department leaders to determine needs and creates intricate business intelligence solutions to support an array of analytical activities and business processes. The incumbent also develops and provides training and user guidance on developed assets and methodologies.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $85,400- $103,250 (Annual).

Required:

  • Thorough knowledge of business intelligence functions, analytics, industry standards and best practices.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant internal databases, BI applications, tools and data visualization tools such as MS PowerBI or Tableau. Ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex information, assess problems, and develop and effective solutions.
  • Detail oriented, with ability to manage time and organize competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with a broad range of professional and technical staff.
  • Proven ability to serve as a technical resource providing advice and counsel on business intelligence issues.
  • Demonstrated experience with the migration of large and complex data sets across multiple platforms while collaborating on competing data culture, privacy, and proprietary items.
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement strategic initiatives and the ability to see a project through from its conception to its completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to key, tabulate and chart statistical data and compile reports. Demonstrated computer skills using spreadsheet and word processing programs.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related profession

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information and requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to function well in a demanding environment as part of a team.
  • Thorough knowledge of statistical modeling, data mining, logistic and linear regression, PCA, decision tree analysis and statistical methods.
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL and statistical software packages (i.e. Python, R, SPPS, and SAS).

  • Occasional evenings and weekends required.
