daho National Laboratory is hiring a Program Coordinator - National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC). Our team works a 9x80 or 4x10 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. The National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and coordination of various projects and initiatives within NRIC. The Program Coordinator will work closely with program managers, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless program operations and contribute to the advancement of innovative nuclear reactor technologies. Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the development and management of program schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate program activities, including meetings, workshops, and project reviews.
- Track program progress and performance metrics, preparing regular status reports for stakeholders.
- Manage program documentation, ensuring accurate and timely updates to project plans, reports, and records.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Support the identification and resolution of program issues and risks.
- Assist in the preparation of program proposals, presentations, and other communication materials.
- Ensure compliance with INL and NRIC policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, meeting logistics, and travel arrangements for program staff.
- You will report to the Department Manager.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Level 3: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience. Master's and 2 years of experience. PhD and 2 years of experience.
- Level 4: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or related filed and 9 years of experience. Master's and 6 years of experience. PhD and 4 years of experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with nuclear energy, technology development, or innovation programs.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Job Information:
- The pay range for this position is: Level 3 $64,064.00 - $133,416.00 / Level 4 $77,628.00 - $159,228.00. At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
- TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
- Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
