Join our team as an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacy Program Manager, where you will develop, implement, and oversee clinical programs in our outpatient pharmacy. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Specialty Pharmacy, you will manage clinical coordinators and other assigned staff, provide education to pharmacists and support personnel, and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage specialty pharmacy clinical programs.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy clinical coordinators and assigned staff.
  • Oversee pharmacist training and ensure clinical program efficiency.
  • Provide direct patient care and resolve complex clinical issues.
  • Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.



Qualifications:


  • Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent 3 years of experience.


    • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, etc)


  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program (PGY1) or 3 years of equivalent experience required
  • Specialty residency training (PGY2) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Maryland pharmacy license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Vaccination certification (required within six months of hire).
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Must meet the requirements for an ASHP residency director and/or residency preceptor as assigned

    • Advanced certification preferred (CDE, BCACP, CGP, etc.)




Salary Range: Minimum 49.18 per hour - Maximum 89.16 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
