Overview
Responsible for management of the health system self-pay receivable portfolio, patient accounts customer service, and cash management departments. This includes collections, bad debt, and financial assistance programs, patient accounts customer service, payer and patient cash posting and reconciliation, and credit balances oversight. Ensures all work processes are performed in a compliant fashion. Adapts to and supports corporate initiatives that impact the Patient Financial Services functions. Provides subject matter expertise; plans, coordinates, and directs all activities associated with areas of responsibility. Is accountable for protecting the accounts receivable asset by ensuring that contemporary processes and systems are utilized that promote strong cash collections, minimizes bad debt and provides excellent patient experience. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $51.41per hour - $88.43per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
