Job Title: IT ProjectChange Management Consultant

Location:San Antonio TX (Hybrid/Remote)
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary:Client isseeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Change Manager.The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that organizational projects and initiatives meet objectives on employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change, which involves preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt and use changes to business processes, systems, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead Change Management activities.
  • Develop and implement Change Management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Support communication & training efforts by enabling the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications.
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Manage anticipated and persistent resistance by understanding the root causes and sources of resistance.
  • Coach senior leaders and executives to fulfill the critical role of Change Management sponsor.
  • Support and coach people managers and supervisors as they help their teams through transitions.
  • Integrate Change Management activities with project plans.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Change Management principles, methodologies, and tools to effectively plan and implement change strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey the need for change and to articulate the vision of change to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving skills to identify obstacles and develop viable solutions during the change process.
  • Excellent analytical skills for assessing the impact of change and the organization's readiness for change.
  • Stakeholder management skills to engage with diverse groups and individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong leadership skills to drive the change process and inspire others to embrace new directions.
  • Experience with organizational development and team dynamics to understand how change affects individuals and teams within the organization.
  • Resilience and flexibility to adapt to changing situations and to manage resistance to change.
  • Conflict resolution skills to deal with disagreements and disputes that may arise during the change process.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of challenges in the Veterinary industry
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with large-scale organizational, multi-location change efforts.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Able to work effectively at all levels of the organization

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
