Responsibilities The Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for Norton Healthcare properties, patients, employees, and visitors. The role responds to emergency situations; patrols assigned areas; escorts and transports patients; maintains records and reports and contributes to the efficient operation of the department. **This role requires driving Norton Healthcare vehicles, which could include transporting patients and visitors. You must have a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record** Norton Healthcare is committed to establishing health equity in every neighborhood, and Norton West Louisville Hospital is an example of that commitment put into action. Opening November of 2024, this state-of-the-art facility is being built at 850 South 28th Street and will offer comprehensive services, including a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient care, operating rooms and imaging technology.
