Are you looking for a new opportunity where you can put on practice all your knowledge? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship. As an intern, you will assist in a variety of projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, optimizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our business functions. You will gain hands-on experience in the field of industrial engineering and work closely with experienced engineers to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist in analyzing and improving operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of data related to production workflows, quality control, and resource allocation.
  • Support process mapping and modeling efforts to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement process improvements, including layout optimization and work standardization.
  • Help conduct time studies and perform workload balancing for different departments or tasks.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presenting findings to the engineering team or leadership.
  • Support the implementation of Lean or Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze and improve the use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Conduct research on industry best practices and technologies that can be applied to current operational processes.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of simulation and modeling tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced work environment.
