Work Hours/ Shift/ Remote
The work schedule will be Monday to Friday during day shift only. No remote work available. Extended work weeks include Saturdays and/or Sundays or holidays as requested or required based on business needs.
Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
a Manage shifts and controls activities in absence of the Packaging Manager.
a Supervises activities and work performed on the floor.
a Supporting Line Leaders and other employees when necessary.
a Maintaining and enforcing proper cGMP practices across all work areas.
a Responsible for working in all areas such as Pre-check and office duties.
a Responsible for working with Systech serialization system and SAP.
a Reducing time spent preparing lines for the next products.
a Training and educating employees when necessary.
a Recording In-process entries into respective documents.
a Checking cleanliness of machines prior or after use.
a Performing daily routine checkups and ensuring safety measures are in place.
a Reducing time spent during changeovers.
a Maintaining full knowledge and a strong understanding of all SOPs and proper use of equipment.
a Be a point of contact for questions regarding procedures and expectations for employees.
a Serves as a leader and coach.
a Addresses performance issues via coaching and/or partnering with HR when necessary.
a Approve time off through ADP. Follow safety regulations and ensure the working area is clean.
a Adhere to CIPLAas Safety, Health, and Environmental policies.
a Other duties may be assigned.
Education Qualifications
a High School Diploma or GED is required.
a Bacheloras degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field of study from an accredited college/university preferred.
Experience
a 1-3 + years of direct supervisory work experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in generic pharmaceutical packaging in an automated work environment.
a Must have cGMP experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
Skills/ Competencies
a Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Packaging Area Standard Operating Procedures and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.
a Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both written and verbally in English.
a Comply with safety and quality regulatory standards when packaging products.
a Ensure products are packaged in accordance with packaging time standards.
a Know how to use Microsoft Office programs and other scientific based software.
