Finishing Lead - 2nd Shift

Note that this position is for 2nd shift.

JOB SUMMARY

The Finishing Assembler Lead assist the finishing/assembly team with any needs and support the department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Weed strip waste area on kiss cut stock - remove obviously defective product.
• Inspect, count and pack finished products.
• Run miscellaneous machines, such as plotters, laminators, core cutting, sewing, Weldmaster, etc.
• Apply graphics to substrates specified on the Job Ticket.
• Prepare daily time accountability
• Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety, improved product quality, better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop costs or employees' health.
• Train new employees on safety and how to do job
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
• Perform light assembly as required.
• Preform other duties as assigned by production manager

CRITICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of product quality standards
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous printing production experience preferred
• Strong ability to lead
