Benchmark is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support to the Therapeutic Crisis Management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Open, maintain, and close client files as directed.
  • Create, maintain and close service authorizations, rehab authorizations and change in service forms as directed
  • Coordinate Outcomes tracking with staff
  • Build and maintain regional resource directory
  • Work with Accounts Receivable to maintain Client spreadsheet
  • File all residential client related information and signed documentation according to compliance standards
  • Assist with and perform administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited to filing, copying, faxing, shredding, typing, distributing mail, and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate order of office supplies and servicing of equipment.
  • Coordinate IT needs and work with IT liaison to resolve IT issues.
  • Track staff training list in compliance with ADMH and Benchmark annual training
  • Assist with onboarding new staff as needed
  • Provide training and computer support for new staff as needed.
  • Attend team meetings Director and staff to take meeting minutes, type minutes, and distribute as needed.
  • Conduct chart reviews.
  • Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
  • Occasional travel to support team as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to interact with all stakeholders in a positive manner.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task and hand detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior office administration or secretarial experience preferred.
