Visiting Lecturer (Mathematics)

The Mathematics Department of Cornell University invites applications for Visiting Lecturer for one or two semesters during the 2025-2026 academic year, beginning August 16, 2025, or January 1, 2026. Responsibilities include teaching up to four courses per year. Experience teaching large lectures is desirable. At least one reference should address teaching. A Ph.D. in mathematics is required. The department anticipates making offers as early as February 20, 2025. Review of application will begin February 15, 2025

Expected hiring salary for a Visiting Lecturer is based on a per course rate of $11,040 to $13,980.

Actual salary offers in the College of Arts & Sciences will be based on education, experience, discipline, and relevant skills.
