Career Advisor

We help job seekers and career changers prepare for and advance in careers with a focus on sustainable, high-growth, high-demand industries. Our committed and well-trained workforce professionals deliver comprehensive workforce solutions at integrated career centers, sector-focused centers and community, and partner sites.

• Provide comprehensive career advising services, including one-on-one client relationships, assessments, and individualized attention to eliminate employment barriers
• Manage client cases, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure follow-up as required by contracts
• Facilitate professional development workshops and manage programmatic offerings to ensure high-quality, business-driven curriculum
• Collaborate with the business services team to align job preparation with market demands
• Oversee program management, including coordinating workshops, issuing grants, and collecting placement data
• Contribute to operational support, compliance standards, and process improvements
• Participate in training, capacity building, and professional development activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years experience in education, social services, healthcare, or communications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs
• Experience in career advisement, workshop facilitation, and curriculum development
• Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain flexibility, and work in a dynamic environment
• Customer service experience and strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of various occupations and career paths, particularly in healthcare
