Job Summary

This position has responsibility for all USA training programs and Colas SA global programs that are delivered in the USA. This position will ensure strategic alignment of learning and development with business goals. A yearly evaluation of individuals and organizational performance to ensure learning and development is meeting business needs and improving performance. Develop and deliver learning and development solutions that meet business needs.

Main Responsibilities

Optimize learning and development processes for efficiency. The implementation of training and development policies and programs may include technical training, management or organizational development, sales training, safety training, train-the-trainer programs, or learning management. Coordinates with USA subsidiaries and Colas SA to identify skill/knowledge gaps and identify training needs, develops training courses, curriculum, or materials, and delivers and evaluates training sessions. Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted. Coordinates guest trainers or subject matter experts (SMEs). Manages and evaluates third party vendors and outsourcing needs of the training function. Documents employee attendance or performance at mandatory training sessions. Assesses training effectiveness and modifies programs to improve results. Is responsible for both the LMS (Learning Management System) and TMS (Talent Management System).

  • Proficiency in survey creation and analyzing feedback.
  • Experience as a learning management system administrator.
  • Ability to facilitate in-person and virtual meetings and training sessions
