Description

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Account Executive to join our amazing culture. This exciting regional sales opportunity centers around driving market expansion and pipeline growth in the SLED vertical by identifying opportunities, crafting strategic business cases & leading high-impact sales pursuits. You will collaborate with Account Executives, partners, influencing organizations & customers to deliver compelling proposals, close deals, & fuel long-term success. As an Account Executive, you are a part of a dynamic sales team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

  • Market Expansion: Work with local Account Executives to Identify and engage potential markets and SLED customers. Develop and execute strategies that differentiate Convergint, creating new business opportunities. Expand the customer base within the SLED vertical and designated territories.
  • Expected Results: Strategic plans in place for tactical engagement, leading to measurable new business wins.
  • Develop Pipeline: Work directly with decision-makers to assess needs, build a strong business use cases, focus on business outcomes, and establish a clear decision timeline.
  • Expected Results: Maintain a pipeline at 3:1 over target, supporting Account Executives across the Southeast.
  • Proposal Construction: Lead sales pursuit teams to craft winning proposals that include compelling business outcomes and demonstrate why Convergint is the best choice.
  • Expected Results: Proposals are complete, strategic, and positioned for success.
  • Presenting & Closing: Deliver impactful presentations, handle objections on pricing, timing, and competition, and drive opportunities to the finish line.
  • Expected Results: Timely and well-informed go/no-go decisions.
  • Colleague Engagement: Foster engagement through clear communication, mentorship, and relationship-building within Convergint and across all regional business units.
  • Expected Results: Alignment that drives growth and high performance.
  • Partner Engagement: Build and strengthen relationships with key partners, influencers, and customers to drive pipeline growth.
  • Expected Results: Quarter-over-quarter pipeline expansion.
  • Customer Engagement: Take the lead when necessary and support Account Executives in customer-facing opportunities to drive new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Expected Results: Focused efforts on new logo acquisition and customer retention.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Be ready to step up, innovate, and contribute beyond the expected as needed!

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 1-3 years sales or equivalent

2 years: Proven history of prospecting & acquiring new customers.
Strong understanding of customer & market dynamics & requirements.
Expertise in assigned vertical market & territory.
Strong interpersonal & relationship-building skills.

Experience in participating in the recruitment process.
