*Job Summary:*
The Security Service Technician will have 3+ years of experience installing security systems (Card Access, CCTV, CATV, and Intrusion systems). The Security Service Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency service calls. This role involves troubleshooting, replacing, and/or repairing malfunctioning or inoperative equipment. The technician works with minimal supervision and may provide training and assistance to less tenured technicians or trainees. *Job Duties and Responsibilities:* * Perform routine and emergency service calls. * Troubleshoot, replace, and/or repair malfunctioning or inoperative equipment. * Proctor, coach, and teach others. * Provide reliable, high-quality customer support. * Instruct customers on system operation and functionality. * Perform system testing and signal verification. * Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools). * Organize and utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks. * Ensure the progress and completion of assigned tasks. * Provide documentation of service and hours worked. * Complete and submit all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner. * Exhibit a strong work ethic and attention to detail. * Complete other projects as assigned. *Physical and Mental Requirements:* * Regular attendance is mandatory. * Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional, and help create, develop, and implement project process improvements. * Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed. * Mastery knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, battery analyzers, and decibel meters. * Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screening. * Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes. * Requires 50% to 75% proficiency in Commercial Tier 1 product offerings. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
