About the role We are looking for a knowledgeable Travel & Expense Analyst to join our Worldpay Accounting Team to support our global corporate card and expense operations. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in travel, corporate card, and/or expense operations and the ability to hit the ground running. Why join Worldpay now? What you'll do
- Process T&E reports to identify expenses that are not aligned to our internal policies.
- Develop a deep understanding of the T&E tools, policies, and processes to know the impact on other systems, tools, and workflows.
- Process corporate card applications and prepare payments.
- Respond to cardholder inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on policy and procedures.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of corporate card statements.
- Resolve and monitor aged expenses.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of key metrics to drive success of the program.
- Analyze expense data to identify trends and outliers.
- Collaborate with other T&E team members and affected parties to ensure concerns and outstanding issues are promptly resolved and addressed.
- Provide training and support on T&E processes.
- Participate in various ad-hoc projects.
What we are looking for
- Experience in T&E operations: At least 3 years of experience supporting T&E processes, such as resolving employee inquiries, processing applications, auditing, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel: Strong ability to analyze data using formulas, pivot tables, and other key functions.
- Familiarity with ERP systems: Experience working with global ERP systems for expense management.
- Strong problem-solving skills: Goes beyond surface-level fixes to identify and address the root cause of issues, ensuring long-term solutions.
- Proactive resolution: Anticipates potential follow-up questions when responding to employee inquiries, providing comprehensive responses to minimize back and forth.
- Continuous improvement mindset: Proactively identifies inefficiencies and seeks opportunities to streamline workflows, automations, and improve overall operations.
- Ownership and accountability: Takes responsibility for individual contributions and actively supports team goals.
- Adaptability to change: Embraces new processes, technologies, and ways of working in a dynamic environment.
- Data analysis and storytelling: Uses data to identify trends, structure insights, and propose actionable solutions.
- Attention to detail and communication skills: Follows existing documentation accurately and creates clear, organized documentation as needed.
