ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

We are recruiting a Corporate Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage many aspects of Inspire Medical's global tax functions while supporting tax opportunities identified by the Tax Director. You will develop, document, and improve processes to increase effectiveness and accuracy while working cohesively with the overall Finance Department.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

• Manages the preparation and analysis of annual and quarterly income tax provision reporting required under ASC 740
• Overseas various tax projects assigned by the Tax Director
• Prepares quarterly/annual reconciliation of income tax-related accounts
• Supports quarterly income tax estimates and annual extension process
• Assists in the federal and state income tax compliance process
• Assists members of the Tax Team with mentoring and training
• Research the tax implications of changes in tax law and apply professional knowledge and experience to determine tax impacts and develop new processes and calculations for these changes
• Manage income tax-related notices and audits with various tax authorities, domestic and foreign
• Provides strategic tax planning related to global and domestic tax positions

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
• 6+ years of relevant work experience, including working knowledge of Tax Accounting/ASC 740 principals
• Previous public accounting experience and/or experience working within a larger company's tax department
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with CorpTax or similar tax software

Preferred:

• Master's degree
• CPA designation
• 2+ years of staff management experience

SALARY

The salary for this position is expected to be between $112,000 and $168,000 will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
