Johns Hopkins All Children's Cancer & Blood Disorders Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida We are dedicated to treating children with both rare and common cancers and blood disorders. As one of the first cancer facilities in Florida specifically for children, we have decades of experience treating these complex conditions. Our hematology and oncology experts specialize in treating children, teens and young adults, using the latest advances and most innovative therapies. If your child needs treatment for cancer or a blood disorder, we are here for you. Within the Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute (CBDI), the dedicated hematology advanced practice provider (APP) will work alongside and in conjunction with CBDI physicians to serve a large hematology patient population within Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. Although the role is primarily outpatient, growth and expansion of the role may evolve and could involve some inpatient coverage in conjunction with our attending physicians. The goal of this role is to eventually function autonomously within the hematology provider group and expand access to our growing patient population. The role will primarily be Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM with the possibility of alternative schedule options in the future. The role we will not involve weekends, call, or holidays. QUALIFICATIONS: * Current Florida State Licensure as ARNP or Physician Assistant * Current DEA License- if warranted by the patient population * Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP for ARNPs or Clinical Master's Degree Physician Assistant * Current BLS and/ PALS * Current National Certification as a: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Primary Care, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care, FNP or Physician Assistant PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: * 1 year of current Hematology/Oncology Advance Practice Professional experience * Pediatric experience Questions for a recruiter? Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
