Job Summary As a Sous Chef, you will oversee the culinary department's daily operations at our facility. Your responsibilities include supervising and participating in the cooking and preparation of various dishes, crafting daily menus, and ensuring their proper execution. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will help develop innovative menus and oversee food ordering. This role suits a dynamic and proactive culinary professional looking to advance their career in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to manage costs and oversee expenditures. Assist in planning and developing menus. Execute and produce catering events. Implement new culinary programs alongside the marketing and culinary teams. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent culinary certification. At least 4 years of progressive experience in kitchen management, preferably in a high-volume or complex foodservice setting. Experience in catering and batch cooking is advantageous. Strong knowledge of current food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation. Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer use.
