As a Senior Associate in this practice, you will be responsible for performing asset-based lending and securitization projects, including report writing, workpaper preperation and interacting with valued clients in the financial institutions and banking industry At Forvis Mazars, our Lender Services Advisory team is led by a talented team of experienced advisors, who have a sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated. We work with lenders at every step of the process-from initial consideration and in-depth evaluation to eventual decision making. By leveraging clear, consistent, and compliant assessment practices, we help lenders pinpoint potential risks and consider transaction options against their potential for return. With a focus on both short-term action and long-term strategy, we provide lenders with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions today and tomorrow. Our engagements encompass companies with credit facilities ranging from $10 million to more than $1 billion, serving a diverse clientele that includes single-entity operations in the United States to global Fortune 1000 conglomerates. We offer field exams, process reviews, and other assessments to consider ongoing and prospective transactions and help banks, asset-based lenders, hedge funds, and private equity firms conduct due diligence. How you will contribute: Perform due diligence for assigned engagements ranging in size and in various industries Execution of Asset Based Lending and Securitization field exam procedures Perform analytical procedures to key elements of client financial statements Perform testing of collateral supporting Asset Based Loans including accounts receivable and inventory Conduct interviews with key client personnel to support engagement procedures Communicate with firm personnel and with client management throughout engagement Preparation and review of written reports and workpapers We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and: Prior experience working in a CPA firm, professional services firm, consulting firm or lender Demonstrated success meeting strict deadlines and providing excellent work results Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral/written) Strong analytical, organizational and report writing skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field of study CPA designation preferred but not required 2+ years of work experience in an Auditing, Asset Based Lending or Collateral Securitization environment #LI-ISELIN, #LI-LINY, #LI-NYC #LI-JT1 New York City Pay Transparency Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs. New York Salary Range: NY Minimum Salary (USD) $ 75,300 NY Maximum Salary (USD) $ 115,900
