This opportunity is in the Information Technology Department.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Release Train Engineer II (RTE) to facilitate and guide a Safety National Agile Release Train (ART). As a servant leader and coach, you will ensure alignment of team activities with strategic goals, facilitate ART events and processes, and drive value delivery. This position reports directly to the Agile Delivery Manager in the Portfolio Delivery organization.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning events, including speaker introductions, plan reviews, risk management, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure strategic alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Business Owners, and System Architects in Agile best practices.
  • Oversee ART events, including Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions.
  • Manage dependencies and risks across Scrum teams and between Agile Release Trains.
  • Continuously monitor the ART to ensure teams are on track to meet their objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.
  • Promote a culture of privacy and security in feature development


Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a leader who has:



  • Strong understanding of SAFe and Lean-Agile principles.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and servant leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts and remove impediments.
  • Experience in coaching teams and individuals in Agile practices.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.


Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (or relevant experience).
  • Required Experience:


    • 1+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or in a similar Agile leadership role.
    • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.


  • Preferred Experience:


    • SAFe Release Train Engineer certification is strongly preferred

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
