Position Title: CNC Programmer
Wage: $25-$33/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Programmer for a company in Waukesha, WI. CNC Programmer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using MASTERCAM for CNC Mills and CNC Lathes - Make on the fly edits at the machine controls as needed to ensure efficient and accurate production - Collaborate with operators to ensure smooth machine setups, offering guidance on tooling and machining processes - Design programs tailored to a variety of custom parts, ensuring adaptability for a fast-paced, multi part production environment - Maintain and update programming files, including tool lists, setup sheets, and operational procedures - Analyze and resolve programming and machining issues to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency - Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production supervisors to optimize machining processes and improve part quality CNC Programmer Requirements: - Proven experience programming CNC Mills and Lathes in a job shop environment - Proficiency with MASTERCAM or similar CAM software - Strong understanding of G code and M code programming, toolpath creation, and post-processing - Experience with CNC machine operation and control edits - Ability to ensure precision and accuracy in programming for high-quality part production - Proficient in CNC programming Mills and Lathes - Skilled in CAM software Mastercam - Strong communication and problem-solving abilities - Ability to adapt to varying part designs in a job shop environment - Technically skilled, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with a focus on producing high-quality work efficiently in a dynamic manufacturing setting QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
