Summary of Job Description:

The Travel and Meeting Coordinator position is responsible for assisting the Manager/Senior Manager in arranging individual and group travel and helping make the best possible travel arrangements, including use of the travel and meeting portal for self-service.This position is also responsible for assisting with coordinating meeting logistics, including travel and meeting layout, for company conferences, meetings, and training sessions.The Coordinator instructs associates on use of the travel/meeting portal for self-service.

You'll get a chance to:

  • Assist Manager/Sr. Manager in arranging individual/group travel, including airline tickets, lodging, and ground transportation, including rental car, shuttle services, and company vans.
  • Ensure travel arrangements meet associates' needs and are at the most favorable rate attainable from the airline or hotel.
  • Assist with coordinating meeting logistics, including travel and meeting layout, for company conferences and meetings, such as the OLC Conference and Leaders Conference.
  • Book meeting/conference rooms for small and large groups and helps arrange food and beverage and other event details.
  • Instruct associates on use of the travel/meeting portal for self-service to provide an efficient alternative approach to arranging travel.
  • Track unused air/hotel credits and appropriately use the unused credits for new or revised reservations.
  • Process travel invoices and assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department as needed.
  • Assist Senior Manager with H1B visas for Support Center and Operations associates.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in travel or hospitality related field
  • If hired, successful completion of annual store training
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
  • If hired, successful completion of annual store training

Pay Range: P1 $28-$35/ hour

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
