Job Title: Vice President, Proposal Development

SUMMARY
Vice President, Proposal Development - come join a team focused on winning and having fun!
Looking for a strong leader focused on proposal development for a fast growing, fun firm. You will lead a team of dynamic proposal managers and writers supporting Defense and Federal Civilian pursuits. Ideally, this person will have a focus on quality, timeliness and driving compelling proposals. This team will support everything from task order responses to large, complex proposals.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide leadership for proposal teams in the development of large, complex proposals
* Work with senior leadership to manage and prioritize proposals across the Defense and Federal Civilian Sectors
* Ensure that proposals are high quality, compliant, and compelling
* Effectively communicate with Agile Defense leadership during reviews and presentations about the proposal effort
* Support initiatives within the Growth organization focused on improving capture and proposal processes
* Routinely conduct lessons learned to ensure that individual proposal managers and teams are constantly improving
* Attend gate and capture reviews to provide feedback on proposal requirements and RFP readiness
* Member of Growth Leadership team responsible for driving Revenue across all sectors of Agile Defense
SUPERVISORY DUTIES
* Leading a team of 8-10 proposal managers and writers (both FT and PT)
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* Bachelor's degree plus 10 years government related experience in Proposal Development
* Demonstrated experience leading proposal managers across Defense and Federal Civilian sectors
* Possess strong leadership, time management, and prioritization skills
