Overview
Want to spend your summer working outside at some of Vermont's best swimming holes and waterfalls? The Vermont Dept of Forests Parks and Recreation is recruiting for a seasonal Recreation Ranger to staff key recreational sites in Windsor and Windham counties. Responsibilities will center around managing visitors at sites with limited capacity and sensitive natural resources with potential opportunities to work on a variety of recreation and visitor use management projects throughout the district. This position, Recreation Ranger - Temporary (Job Requisition #52144), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.
