Shift: Day (Monday-Friday); occasional weekends and occasional on-call

Experience:
Certified in two specialties preferred or achieved within 1 year of hire. Three years' experience as staff sonographer with experience Abd/OB

Education:
Graduate of an approved program (JCERT Preferred). Bachelors degree (Preferred)

Licensures/Certifications:
RDMS certified
RVT certification preferred (must be achieved within 1 year of hire)

• Make an Impact! Provides supervision of the day to day operation of the Ultrasound section. Directs the workflow for the technical staff for all classifications of patients throughout the department. Assigns staff to meet the needs of the patient schedule. Monitors equipment functionality. Works with field engineers and MLH Biomedical Engineering Department in addressing any equipment issues. In conjunction with staff technologists and technologist assistants, assures procedure rooms are stocked with supplies. Checks the quality of the images on PACS and solves the QA issues on all studies as needed. Is competent to perform procedures on all patient populations ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Maintain working relationship with all ancillary departments
