The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

Justrite Safety Group is looking to hire a dynamic and experienced Event Coordinator to join our industrial safety manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing tradeshows, end-user events, and supplier events. This role requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating impactful events.

Reporting to the Director of Channel Marketing and Merchandising, you will be working closely with the channel and sales teams to plan and coordinate participation in trade shows and industry events to promote Justrite products and strengthen distributor relationships as well as with the business unit marketing teams to develop materials and presentations for trade shows that effectively showcase product benefits and company values.

What You'll Do at Justrite:

Event Planning and Execution



  • Develop comprehensive event plans for tradeshows, end-user events, and supplier events
  • Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, layout design, and vendor management
  • Create and manage event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Oversee on-site event setup and breakdown


Marketing and Communications



  • Develop and implement pre-, during, and post-event marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and content
  • Manage event-related communications with attendees, sponsors, and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with the sales team to align event objectives with overall business goals


Budget and Expense Management



  • Develop and manage event budgets
  • Track expenses and provide regular financial reports
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness


On-Site Management



  • Oversee all on-site operations during events
  • Manage staff and volunteers during events
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events


Post-Event Activities



  • Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Analyze event metrics and ROI to inform future event strategies
  • Manage post-event follow-ups with attendees and sponsors


Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events and tradeshows
  • Proficiency in event management platforms such as Eventbrite or Cvent
  • Experience with project management tools like Smart Sheets or Projects
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot
  • Knowledge of social media management platforms for event promotion


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:



  • Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) or Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) certification preferred
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive hourly base pay ranging from $26 to $32.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
