Job Summary

IFF is looking for a Plant Planner to join their team in St. Louis, MO!

The plant planner is responsible for creating and maintaining weekly and daily detailed production/supply schedules to meet customer demand requirements, as well as being a key interface between plant OP' teams, Master planners, and customer service to ensure all requirements are satisfied to deliver to our customers.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Issue detailed production schedule utilizing SAP PPDS for planning horizon.
  • Manage production details in line with business strategy (cost, rate, inventory and uptime).
  • Assure schedule is continually maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain.
  • Highlight and actively participate in the identification and resolution of inventory, customer order and quality issues as they develop.
  • Primary point of contact with customer service team
  • Monitoring process orders & assuring closed as needed, accurate process orders are used to maintain system & data integrity
  • Primary interface between manufacturing and supply chain planning.
  • Works with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule along with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Maintain SAP Master Data to support scheduling & ATP process
  • Maintain & monitor key KPIs for assets (i.e. slow moving & obsolete inventory, capacity loading, production to plan, inventory, delivery to promise, etc.
  • Support Toll Manufacturing Network and teammates as needed for backup and support.
  • Schedule logistics for finished goods. Execute delivery and production paperwork.
  • Execute physical audit and reconciliation of findings in SAP.
  • Issues raw material and packaging requisitions to vendors for the site(s).
  • Participate and assist in leading decision center forums with regional warehouse teams.
  • Requisition finished goods to import from other global sites as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields.
  • 3+ years experience in operations or supply chain roles
  • Knowledge of supply planning theory and stock management
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Excellent business English communication skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Continuous improvement attitude

Training / Certifications:

  • SAP, APO, MRP training on functional areas of expertise
