Summary

The Individual Patient Navigators (PNs) are individuals who advocate for newly diagnosed cancer patients of the Grady Health System. The primary purpose of the PN is to successfully guide patients through the health care system. The PNs provide peer-to-peer support, assist with locating resources and social services that new patients may need, and encourage adherence and compliance to treatment regimens.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Health, Social Services or a related field preferred.
• One (1) or more years exposure to a health care environment.
• Experience in an Oncology or cancer healthcare environment preferred.
