Summary
This position is a hybrid role working 2 - 8 hour days. Responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing educational programs for rehabilitation therapy professionals through advancing the skills of therapists, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting ongoing professional development. Essential Functions Design and develop educational curricula for rehabilitation therapy professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Plan, coordinate, and conduct training sessions for new and existing rehabilitation therapy professionals. Provide hands-on and theoretical training to enhance clinical skills, patient interaction, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Facilitate orientation programs for new rehabilitation therapy staff, introducing them to departmental policies, procedures, and standards. Develop and implement ongoing training programs to keep rehabilitation therapy professionals informed about the latest advancements, technologies, and evidence-based interventions. Conduct regular assessments of clinical and interpersonal skills of rehabilitation therapy professionals. Ensure therapists maintain required certifications and licenses. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and assessments for rehabilitation therapy professionals.
