The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider. The PA is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation.
Our well-established Hospital Medicine Unit seeks a PA candidate to join our strong inpatient medicine team. We are a general medicine service that works in collaboration with supervising physicians to care for high acuity, medically complex inpatients. This is a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a supportive environment at a top-tier academic medical center. Although internal medicine and/or inpatient experience is preferred, we are also committed to training motivated new graduates who seek a career in hospital medicine. There is a 12-week transition to practice program to ensure high quality onboarding upon starting.
Our service offers a rotating daytime schedule with 12 hour shifts. Weekends and holidays are required.
