Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency. This position is based in Huntsville, Alabama.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:



  • Provide MDA systems analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System capabilities to identify lethal objects.
  • Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry team.
  • Provides technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA's Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate.
  • Develop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities.



Required Experience:



  • Master's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience.
  • Systems engineering analysis and process management to include development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedules.
  • Experience with Technical performance assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation development.
  • Must be a US Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes.
