Unit 18 Lecturer Salary Scale Application Window Open date: February 11, 2025 Next review date: Tuesday, Mar 11, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Dec 31, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California, Irvine School of Law is generating an applicant pool of qualified clinical lecturers to teach in our Juris Doctor Clinical Law Program. We will consider applications for lecturers to join existing clinics based on needs in individual clinical courses and applicants 'specialized expertise. The individual clinics within the Clinical Law Program in which we may have need for lecturers include the following Clinics: Ninth Circuit Appellate Litigation Curricular Details: https://www.law.uci.edu/academics/real-life-learning/clinics/ General Duties of Lecturers in the Clinical Law Program: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, client representation, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus, handouts, exercises, exams and other assessment tools), attending departmental meetings, and maintaining a course website. Lecturer appointments are term appointments. The term appointment falls under the purview of the agreement between the University of California and the American Federation of Teachers.
