This position is responsible for the coordination of activities within the designated unit, which will include but is not limited to coordinating for the delivery of training and education programs; expanding the training audience for outreach programs; ensuring all educational programs and materials are of the highest quality; and identifying new training and educational opportunities. Works independently or with a team to coordinate small- and large-scale events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Three years of high-level administrative experience required.

1. Master's degree in Education, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

1. One year of Project Management experience required

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Works with different departments and hospitals in WVU Medicine healthcare system and all levels of staff to adequately prepare for each activity or program.

2. Supports program activities which may include gathering required resources to support special events, collecting information for/at event, coordinating logistics and conducting event follow-up.

3. Provides general administrative and clerical support to programs and projects.

4. Maintain calendars and conduct necessary coordination with appropriate departments within the Hospital and the University to eliminate resource conflicts related to classroom, lab and training, supply use, catering, etc.

5. Assist in the development of programs that allow WVUH to become a leader in critical care education.

6. Assist in the assessment of programs ensuring course standards, certification requirements and learning objectives are met to the highest of standards.

7. Facilitates the CME process for attendance of programs.

8. Maintain all administrative requirements for course completion, certification, CEU credits, and course rosters associated with training and education delivered by the Institute.

9. Work with appropriate government agencies to coordinate current military training programs and expand educational offerings within the DoD as opportunities arise.

10. Provide quarterly/semi-annual reports to appropriate physician leads for each program or course of instruction.

11. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets information and data from multiple resources to identify new and established information for inclusion into identified database fields.

12. Maintains current and valid data in relevant databases.

13. Develops and distributes reports.

14. Attends all assigned meetings in support of the designated programs supported.

15. Coordinates with internal departments and external organizations and develops executable objectives to meet desired strategic goals.

16. Assists with the collection, review and posting of relevant data to maintain appropriate web presence and community outreach.

17. Assists with the administration and growth of the Institute including but not limited to expansion of current programs and development of new opportunities

18. Participate as a key member of the varying committees as appropriate to programs supported or otherwise designated.
