We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Marketing for our rapidly expanding Branded Business Unit. The successful candidate will have experience in fast-paced start-up environments, specifically at small and mid-sized organizations where they have demonstrated the ability to drive strategy but also roll up their sleeves and pull through tactics while measuring ROI.
The candidate will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive omnichannel marketing and social media strategies to meet the forecasts of our current and future branded pharmaceutical products. The Senior Director of Marketing will be responsible for helping shape the brand image, creating targeted Consumer/HCP campaigns, developing meaningful customer and influencer relationships, and ensuring the successful launch and promotion of our products.
In addition to in-line marketing, the candidate is required to have experience managing broader operational aspects of brand success, including market access, patient support, specialty pharmacy, telemedicine, distribution, pricing and forecasting.
This role is a player/coach, with one Sr. Product Manager direct report, and will report directly to the Vice President, Brand Sales and Marketing. They will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the culture, communication, and dynamics of a rapidly growing organization. This is a hybrid role, with time split between home office and 3 days per week in our corporate headquarters in Bridgewater, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Campaign Development & Execution
* Develop and implement Consumer and HCP omnichannel marketing strategies aligned with the overall business objectives, with a focus on branded pharmaceuticals in the women's health sector.
* Deploy tactics and create an ROI monitoring system that allows us to optimize campaign tactics.
* Identify, engage and leverage HCP and Consumer social media influencers.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
Brand Management
* Establish and maintain a strong brand presence and growth trajectory for branded products - driven by defined KPIs.
* Manage multiple external business partners including advertising agencies, PR, Patient Access, Telemedicine and Specialty Pharmacy.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels and promotional materials.
* Oversee the development of marketing collateral, with a focus on digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
P&L Management
* Manage the P&L of the brands under the Branded Business Unit.
* Understand and use levers outside of traditional marketing to grow the business and maximize Gross to Net.
Market Analysis and Customer Insights
* Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth.
* Utilize customer insights to drive product development and enhance marketing effectiveness.
* Understand complex payor landscapes and be able to successfully position Cosette brands to maximize patient access.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Collaborate with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
* Bring concepts and tactics through Medical, Legal and Regulatory Committee (MLR) to ensure compliance.
* Provide guidance to the sales team to support their efforts in promoting women's health products.
Budget Management
* Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure optimal allocation of resources and ROI.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve marketing goals.
Desired Experience/Education and Personal Attributes:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* Minimum 12 years experience in pharmaceutical marketing.
* Consumer marketing experience required and Women's Health experience preferred.
* Deep experience in driving successful omnichannel marketing and social media campaigns.
* Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of full P&L of brand and Business Unit.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
* Self-motivated, strong sense of accountability, drive for results and highly energetic individual that thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast paced environment.
