Job Details

Under the direction of the Residency Program Director and Program Administrative Manager, is responsible for the verification of resident data, assisting with curriculum development, and facilitating the development of physician teaching skills.

Job Description

  • Responsible for oversight of resident and faculty administrative responsibilities and reporting data to residency program leadership.
  • Assists with managing surgery resident rotations and evaluations.
  • Identifies opportunities for physician development in teaching skills.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Four years of experience in an administrative or medical educational role preferred
  • Responsible for oversight of resident and faculty administrative responsibilities and reporting data to residency program leadership.
  • Assists with managing surgery resident rotations and evaluations.
  • Identifies opportunities for physician development in teaching skills.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must be detail-oriented; possess strong organizational, communication, computer and written skills.
  • Personal computer and word processing/spreadsheet/database management software knowledge a must.
  • Ability to be flexible and perform consistently under pressure.
