Position Details:

The Child Mind Institute is looking for an experienced individual to join our team as Clinical Operations Manager. The Clinical Operations Manager monitors staff performance and provides managerial support, ensuring efficiency in process, and providing regular performance metrics. You will play an important role in the satisfaction of our patients and families and our staff. You will be a thoughtful manager, flexible thinker and detailed trainer with a goal of delivering exceptional customer service.

Reporting to Director of Clinical Administration this is an exempt, full-time, fully on-site position located in our NYC headquarters office.

You Will:

  • Provide daily administrative support including workflow, staff coverage and supervision concerns. Be a patient escalation point when needed.
  • Manage, recruit and train clinical support staff to ensure the highest standards of customer service.
  • Develop and implement a standardized, frequent staff training on systems and customer service.
  • Work with leadership to implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with practice standards and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, HR onboarding / termination, etc.
  • Work with and support clinical administration, HR, legal, IT, facilities and finance management.
  • Collaborate with leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel to accommodate the growth of the office.
  • Enact contingency plans as needed; escalate and direct activities during systems problems, disasters, etc.; identify potential problems, troubleshoot, and escalate issues. Participate in post-mortem analysis providing input for future process improvements.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in customer service, training and management
  • Experience with effective management of staff
  • Experience maintaining and evaluating, integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications
  • Familiarity with the medical field's concepts, practices and procedures preferred
  • Passion for the CMI mission

Pay Range

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
