Pulsed Laser Technician

Perform, alignment, and tuning of pulsed fiber laser systems.

Use test equipment to measure and adjust laser system parameters, ensuring they meet specified performance criteria.

Conduct detailed calibrations and fine-tuning of laser systems to achieve desired output characteristics.

Perform diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues with laser systems.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize laser system designs and processes.

Document tuning procedures, adjustments, and test results for future reference.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling laser equipment.

Primary responsibility is support of new product introduction. Tasks include managing entire production flow, work order data entry, stock area maintenance, laboratory up-keep, and managing internal cleaning line. Candidate must have the ability to follow, maintain, and assist in documenting operational processes, and must be capable of learning quickly on a variety of tasks. Prompt entry of data in databases and log files and ability to report information from same. Daily communication with Manufacturing team and Product Development team is required to ensure a smooth transition of new designs to volume production.

Duties: Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Ability to handle small, sensitive and high value components with care.
* Experience handling and cleaning Optics.
* Strong written and communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to follow transactional procedures.
* Ability to focus on task at hand and maintain accuracy and quality of work.
* Driven to improve the efficiency of processes and the adherence to those processes & procedures.
* Desire to learn, grow and succeed.
* Some travel required
* Associates Degree, preferred.
* Organized, energetic, reliable, timely, detail oriented.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
* Team oriented thinker.
* Ability and desire to handle work of diverse scope and complexity.
* Ability to support the team across a wide range tasks. Additional Requirements:
* Lifting of items up to 50 pounds will be required, walking, standing, lifting and reaching.
