About the Treasury Team You will be an important member of the team responsible for global Treasury operations at this highly regarded Fortune 500 company. At Williams-Sonoma, the Treasury team manages, protects, and optimizes the company's cash. You will be part of a small and dynamic team with opportunities to learn and explore all facets of treasury. This role is onsite in the San Francisco office Monday - Thursday and work remotely on Fridays. Responsibilities:
- Be the primary Treasury contact for our global portfolio of stores, including but not limited to:
- Manage the banking requirements for new and existing stores.
- Maintain and update bank account signatories for store depository accounts.
- Manage the courier service and all store depository needs of our stores.
- Responsible for daily BAI file downloads from a variety of bank portals to support domestic store related reporting.
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve variances by partnering with stakeholders.
- Prepare domestic corporate bank and international retail deposits.
- Perform core Treasury related activities such as the initiation of wire transfers, account reconciliations, month-end close processes, and journal entry creation.
- Maintain schedules related to the company's share repurchase program and short-term investments.
- Assist with quarterly and annual schedules for audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Manage bank accounts and other key data within the Treasury Management System (Kyriba) and learn to troubleshoot issues that may arise.
- Assist with bookkeeping and reporting for the Williams-Sonoma Foundation.
- Provide support with a variety of treasury-related functions and serve as back up for other team members as required and manage ad-hoc Treasury projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Finance or Accounting strongly preferred.
- Prior related finance work experience a plus (3+ years).
- Strong desire to develop professional skill set and advance career.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
- Prior experience with a Treasury Management System (Kyriba) and ReconNet strongly desired.
- Knowledge of Oracle and Essbase a plus.
- Possess quantitative and analytical skills, coupled with intellectual curiosity and a bias for action.
- A team player with a strong work ethic with the confidence and ability to work independently.
- Unquestioned attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A resourceful and creative problem solver with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to provide sound financial and business judgment, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to drive results in a fast-paced/deadline-oriented environment.

The expected starting pay rate for this position is $85,000 - $90,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
