Shift Supervisor, Server, Bartender, Host

108 Taphouse and Burger Bar is seeking an experienced restaurant professional for a Shift Supervisor role which includes regular host, server, and bartending responsibilities. The Shift Supervisor reports to the 108 Taphouse and Burger Bar General Manager. The Shift Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar. The Shift Supervisor ensures efficient service, a high level of customer satisfaction, and the smooth running of all aspects of the business. The Shift Supervisor leads by example, inspires staff, and plays a key role in managing both the front-of-house and back-of-house operations while also performing server, host, and bartending duties as needed.

108 Taphouse is a special establishment in downtown Ketchikan. This historic location was initially erected in 1900 and has been a staple of downtown Ketchikan, Alaska since then. 108 Taphouse and Burger Bar is one of the Cape Fox Corporation Commercial restaurants. It offers delicious casual food including burgers made from elk and creative drinks that are like works of art in a glass.

Guest reception

Reservation and waitlist management

Customer service and communication

Table management and preparation

Bar and kitchen staff coordination

Cleanliness and organization

Tips and payments handling, accurate bill itemization

Order taking and order delivery

Food preparation

Drink preparation (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
