Our team in Corporate Group is looking for an Expense Report Specialist to join them. You will report to the Regional Account-to-Report Manager and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, collecting, and interpreting financial information. You will review and approve travel expense reports in accordance with company policies, generate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, and conduct financial analysis to support decision-making. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with regulatory and government accounting standards. This role may also encompass providing administrative and transactional accounting support, such as maintaining ledgers and performing data entry tasks.

To be considered for the Expense Report Specialist role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 2+ years of experience supporting a finance function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze data through advanced formulas and functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Prior experience in auditing expense reports, managing corporate credit cards, and maintaining accounts is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience with travel and expense management software (e.g., Concur) and SAP would be beneficial.

As an Expense Report Specialist, you will:

  • Support the administration of the Travel and Expense, Event Planner, and Purchasing Credit Card programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and resolve issues.
  • Audit credit card transactions to ensure compliance with company and government accounting policies.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports as required.
  • Provide assistance to employees with travel and credit card related inquiries.
