Job Summary:



The Program Development specialist for Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) Program will provide high level project management and operational support to the FND Program Manager and associated faculty members. This position will report to the FND Program Manager. This position will be responsible for developing and executing processes to support the FND Program and associated faculty, as well as managing and making decisions pertaining to the day-to-day operations of the NES Clinic. Primary duties will include: constructively identifying and creating processes for increased FND Program efficiency; managing all aspects of the FND Program clinical, educational and research endeavors including process improvement and working with complementary UCHealth Outpatient Neurology personnel to promote optimal execution. The FND Program Development specialist will work closely with the Neurology department administrative staff, UCH neurosciences administrative staff, and the faculty FND Program director. Additionally, this role creates and executes processes to streamline and improve program functions.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee, facilitate and develop processes to improve each aspect of FND Program execution as indicated.
  • Work with FND Program providers to develop QI/PI/program improvement project plans.
  • Implement and maintain program marketing materials and advertising plans to help grow the FND Program and attract new patients.
  • Prepares reports as needed for FND Program Director and faculty.
  • Participate in on-going creative brainstorming, idea generation and trend gathering opportunities.
  • Create presentations, design outcomes, documents, spreadsheets, etc. to inform leadership in the decision making process.
  • Work closely with leadership to develop project plans for new innovation. This includes defining the problem/opportunity and the scope, objectives, deliverables, risks, strategies, timeline, resources required, project team requirements, tasks and responsibilities.
  • Develop processes to improve study integrity, e.g., regulatory compliance, safety, record keeping, etc: aimed at ensuring that MDC clinical trials and research staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Work Location:



Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:



Minimum Qualifications:

Entry



  • A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social and/or biological sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.


Intermediate



  • A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
  • 1 year of project management experience in a clinical research and/or hospital setting


Senior



  • A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
  • 2 years of project management experience in a clinical research and/or hospital setting


Principal Pro



  • A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
  • 3 years of project management experience in clinical research and/or hospital setting

    • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.




Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • A master's degree (or enrollment in a Master's degree program) in a biological science, public health, or health care administration is preferred.
  • Member of Functional Neurological Disorders Society.
  • Biostatistics/epidemiology or other relevant data analysis expertise.
  • Experience working in Neuroscience.
  • Experience working with FileMaker Pro (or similar software) and manipulation of data would be ideal.

Anticipated Pay Range:



The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:

Entry: $48,494-$61,685

Intermediate: $52,773-$67,127

Senior: $57,052-$72,570

Principal: $65,610-$75,000

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
