Remote position with the ability to travel to our NJ and NY locations up to 25% of the time.

Position Summary:

Experienced Project Manager will lead, plan, establish, and manage several IT projects and will liaison between with various departments of the organization and IT of assigned projects.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of the project.
  • Develops, maintains, and revises project artifacts including project objectives, technology systems, requirements specifications, timelines, budget and resource allocations.
  • Follows scrum methodologies and establish necessary scrum ceremonies for execution.
  • Manage the requirements backlog, ensuring all business needs are documented and prioritized.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.
  • Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree required.
  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience coordinating with internal employees, vendors, and consultants.
  • Experience with onshore-offshore model.
  • Experience with Jira for requirements and backlog management
  • Minimum 4 years of Agile project management experience.
  • Experience in Insurance industry is a plus

  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.
  • Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the insurance industry.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.


The salary range for this role is$81,100 - $150,100. The listed annual salary range posted for this position is subject to change and may vary depending on performance, education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for the role and business needs. Base pay is just one component of GNY's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
