Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Site Reliability Engineer with 10+ years plus experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Roles & Responsibilities:

* SRE Engineer will support the Marketing applications and infrastructure.

* Responsible to review and monitor the applications for stability and reliability.

* Propose improvements that would help scale the applications.

* Capable of triaging issues and recommending solutions.

* Actively Participate in testing activities (performance, load, chaos testing).

* Review existing release engineering processes and perform deployment activities.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems.

* Oversee the development and deployment of DevOps practices to enhance operational efficiency.

* Provide technical guidance and support to development teams to ensure best practices are followed.

* Monitor and maintain system performance ensuring high availability and reliability.

* Develop and implement SRE practices to improve system resilience and reduce downtime.

* Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.

* Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architecture and system processes.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

* Mentor and train junior team members to build a strong and capable team.

Required Qualifications:

* Possess at least 10 + years strong experience in SRE and DevOps practices.

* Expert in Cloud technologies (preferably GCP),

* Strong foundation on CI/CD methodologies.

* Expertise in APM tool like Dynatrace.,

* Log monitoring tool like Splunk is required.

* Java / Python/ Shell scripting experience is desired.

* Demonstrate proficiency in monitoring and maintaining system performance.

* Show expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

* Exhibit knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.

* Have experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

* Possess excellent collaboration and communication skills.

* Have a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
