POSITION SUMMARY

The HR intern will be responsible for day-to-day administrative activities, including updating and organizing records, filing HR documents, helping improve HR management processes, and assisting in personnel management tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Perform assorted administrative functions for the Human Resource Department
  • Assist in annual appraisal process
  • Assist in maintenance and updating of Hourly and Salaried Employee Handbooks
  • Monitor all salaried requisitions in UltiPro including reviewing resumes and coordinating interviews
  • Assist with company events and new hire onboarding
  • Maintain and organize personnel files in an orderly fashion
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the Corporate Human Resources Manager.


JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Preferred to be in process of obtaining Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business


SPECIAL SKILLS



  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Computer literate - knowledge of Microsoft Office


WORKING CONDITIONS



  • Normal office environment
  • Travel to plant sites; use of personal protection equipment; hazards and conditions typically associated with a manufacturing environment
