Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Deliver high-availability middleware for enterprise integrations Design and develop API components with minimal assistance Troubleshoot and remediate issues with minimal assistance Quickly learn and ramp-up on diverse applications and technology Fit in an as over-achiever on a high-performance agile team Work with architects and partners to develop robust solutions Partner with business on requirements and cost-effective options Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of experience in Java development 3+ years of experience in Angular or Spring Boot development Strong experience in SOA, REST and web services Good understanding of SOA and integration patterns Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, etc. Experience working on scrum teams and agile methodology Experience with secure coding practices including OAuth, SAML Core Java Angular X Desired skills: Master's degree in Computer Science or related field 1+ years' experience working as Agile Engineer that can Dev and Test 3+ years' experience on high-availability integration patterns (e.g., events) 3+ years' experience on high-availability persistence (e.g., Redis, MongoDB) 1+ years' experience with cloud technology (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google) 1+ years' experience with container technology (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
