The Organized Provider Account Strategy (OPAS) is a new team within US Market Access tasked with developing the strategy & engagement model required to drive enterprise performance and capitalize on growth potential in a critical customer segment: large, sophisticated Organized Providers. We are approaching enterprise collaborations differently to address patient-centered needs and deliver mutual benefits to GSK, to Organized Providers and to patients. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy, ensuring effective execution, demonstrating impact, and delivering long-term growth within this critical customer segment.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with several stakeholders at various levels across the GSK enterprise, including brand and strategy leads, market access strategy leads, BU Heads, Organized Provider Account Leads (OPALs), legal and compliance partners, PRT, internal and external comms teams, and I&A leads. It will be important working with these teams to garner support in pull through and execution and capability building while driving strong understanding of 'why' aligned to customer needs.

The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following.

  • Provide significant contributions to the newly developed Organized Provider strategy and operating plan
  • Work closely with the Account-based Solutions team to design, organize and deploy appropriate resources within GSK to drive value co-creation with Organized Providers
  • Accountable for developing and executing strategically aligned value propositions and solutions across the GSK enterprise, including liaising with appropriate BU, legal, compliance and matrix teams to meet objectives
  • In partnership with OPALs, owning solution implementation, pull through and success measures for assigned external health system accounts as needed
  • Demonstrate leadership with all internal GSK teams including field teams, cross-functional partners, and internal leadership
  • Routinely dig in and understand market landscape trends and account-level insights and effectively communicate key learnings back to the OPAS team and broader organization
  • Drive relevant stakeholders in the development of new capabilities required across OPAS and internal GSK teams to meet customer needs (E.G., I&A, Legal, Compliance, other)
  • Work in tandem with Account Based Solutions Head & Director, OP Account Leads, Business Units and Market Access teams to share relevant learnings and influence value prop evolution for GSK within this customer base
  • Work closely with strategic external partners and consultants/workbenches to ensure high quality deliverables that meet OPAS and customer needs
  • Point person to bring value propositions and solutions through the Promotional Review Team (PRT) as well as Legal/Compliance

Why You?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 or more years of experience in Pharmaceutical /healthcare marketing, account management sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of market level insights inclusive of competitive analysis trends and performance.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% nationwide for customer/internal meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GSK therapeutic area ( vaccines, oncology ) experience
  • Experience working with PRT, legal and compliance
  • Demonstrated business acumen, including managing multiple program budgets and projects, timelines, process, and procedures across the matrix
  • Proven analytical ability enabling data-driven and customer insights-led decisions
  • Demonstrated written & verbal communication skills
  • Proven learning agility
  • Understanding of health system operations and external market landscape inclusive of payer dynamics, value-based care advancements
