Job Description: Lease Abstractor (12-Month Contract) Location: Cupertino, CA Pay Range: $55 - $61.30 per hour (W2) Our client, a renowned technology company based in Cupertino, CA, is seeking a talented Lease Abstractor to join their Lease Accounting and Lease Payment teams on a 12-month contract. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the team by ensuring the accurate abstraction and interpretation of legal real estate documents, maintaining data integrity, and assisting with ongoing lease data updates. Key Responsibilities: Review, interpret, and abstract legal real estate documents, ensuring that all relevant information is entered accurately into the system of record. Continuously verify and abstract lease information, updating the database as needed. Support the Lease Accounting and Lease Payment teams in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance. Assist with the preparation of reports and data analysis related to lease information. Work closely with the Finance Manager of the Real Estate and Development Lease Accounting team to ensure proper tracking and documentation of leases. Key Qualifications: Strong ability to review, interpret, and abstract legal real estate documents. Proven track record of successfully completing challenging projects and managing multiple priorities. Exceptional attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a financial, analytical, and creative approach. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A background in accounting is essential, with Lease Accounting experience considered a plus. Advanced Excel skills, including data management and analysis. Education and Experience: A BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
