Job Details Under supervision of Lead Ambulatory Pharmacist (Population Health), assists the pharmacist team in caring for patients by providing point patient outreach services as assigned. Promotes the safe and effective use of medications by providing the clinical ambulatory pharmacist team with accurate and timely information necessary to make informed clinical recommendations related to medications and clinical quality measures.Job Description Essential Functions
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required): Knowledge of Pharmacology nomenclature Knowledge of Medical Terminology Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Education: High School or GED required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technology Program preferred. AND Experience: 2+ years work experience as a pharmacy technician in an ambulatory setting. Applicable experience as a pharmacist extender is desired. Certified Pharmacy Technician in NJ and PA preferred.
